Recently a new prospect declared that Pilates was “over his budget.”  Is your good health, bone building, life giving education in Pilates over budget?  We think not.  Make a commitment this month of May to take PRIVATE lessons, where you get MORE bang for the buck.
Read Joe’s quote one more time, slowly, while thinking about your other activities:
Pilates develops the body uniformly,
corrects wrong postures,
restores physical vitality,
invigorates the mind,
and elevates the spirit.”
 
Yes, you “get” all of that in your Pilates workout.  The misconception is that mat is often too difficult to perform (having just gotten off the floor from practicing the first five exercises as correctly as I can, I can attest to this statement).  So the “masses,” MODIFY the exercises from their original intent.  It becomes a watered down version of the real thing and then some people think it’s too easy.  Without a certified Pilates teacher observing and cueing your movement so that you FEEL the VALUE INSIDE, so that you THINK about what you are DOING, you are right.  It could be of no value to you.
 
This May 6 is Pilates Day – come check out a class that Saturday. There are several to choose from! May is Pilates month to boost (and perhaps humbly offer) what we do best:  PRIVATE LESSONS and SEMI-PRIVATE GROUPS.  Request your time soon, bring a friend if you like, perhaps your MOM or DAUGHTER for Mother’s Day or get a Gift Certificate.
Now that there are plenty of GROUP classes around the globe, it’s time to re-educate our community about WHY to do Pilates in a private setting.  You will get MORE out of the hour and then when you practice or go to a group, you will get more out of THAT.
YOU ARE WORTH IT.  
IT IS FOR YOUR GOOD HEALTH.  
IT IS EXERCISE FOR LIFE!
