In light of our recent deep freeze,
the “mini” Full Moon
(it’s the first of the year, but farthest away from the Earth),
you may feel challenged to keep up with commitments, or to sense your authentic longings and goals.

Empower yourself to feel, know and do what it takes to improve the rest of your life.

It’s essential.

The more important aspect of this message is the word LIVE. Joe Pilates intended these *Contrology* exercises to improve your LIFE, your everyday activities. First, learn the art of correct breathing!

Take a deep breath of the crisp winter air, then exhale completely (the sensation of giving yourself a warm, fuzzy hug), and you will automatically inhale MORE:

Secondly, start with at least the first exercise! THE HUNDRED – to pump the oxygen through out your entire body and warm up your core!

My own goal is to BREATHE MORE, and to SAY YES. What’s yours? With so many of us already fallen off New Year’s goals, Joe Pilates’ suggestion to make up your mind to do ten minutes “without fail” seems simple. Simple, not easy.



We will explore “LIVE MORE FROM YOUR CORE” further throughout the year, as we go deeper in our practice to learn movement for better health. TO LIVE LIFE MORE. Suffice it to say today, that it involves studying ourselves, our spines, and our heart.
